Yesterday I was at my local library perusing the shelves and I thought,,, hmmm,, I wonder if they have any thing new from Taiwan.. I looked,, and I couldn't find any Taiwan any where, but to my amazement, around the corner in the huge China section,, here were the books on Taiwan. Now I know library have a system of cataloging books so that they can be referenced on computer and then found on the shelves with a minimum of fuss,,, I think it is called the Dewey system. I started thinking to myself,,, geeez,,China tries to influence countries on whether they can see the Dalai lama or not., it tells us to ban falun gong it tells us we cannot call Taiwan a country It also tries to dictate all sorts of foreign policy to democratically elected governments like ours here in New Zealand,, happily I can say we have rejected most of their requests, but,,,, but I thought,, is this the work of the Chinese Govt.
